Our group enjoyed the family day event this fall. There was lots for kids to take part in..very affordable. Kudos to the girl scout troop&Johanna R...face paintings where great.
What a great little out of the way park. Nice mix of tourist interest as well as outdoor recreation for local residents - big playground and two sports fields. The museum and period buildings are worth the effort. I really like the old mining carts out front.

Beautiful place. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice, clean playground for the kids. Picnic/grill area a volley ball area a baseball diamond & of course the gold mining! It's fun all ages & you her to keep what you found!

The horse people and horse rides where a hit.
